The Orange City Arts Council arranges 15 to 20 art events for our community each year including artist residencies in area schools, summer art activities, after-school art classes, a community band and chorus, and a variety of music, theatre and dance performances, such as:

The OrangeRind Film Festival |
Featuring local films
ORANGE CITY – Several short films will be featured in the OrangeRind Film Fesitval Friday, July 16 at 8 p.m. at the Northwestern College DeWitt Theatre.
Films to be shown include Fred and Bob's Adventure and William's Pen, both by Ben Groot of Sioux Center; Sam Beasley, P.I. by David De Wit and Elliot De Wit of Alton and Todd Montsma of Sioux Center; Bus Stop by Steve Faber of Le Mars; and Fight with Fire: The Rise & Rise of the Bloodless Dragons by Steve Mahr and Ryan Pendell of Orange City.
Also on the docket are trailers of new films, Of Dreams, by Joseph Barker of Minneapolis, Vaughn Donahue of Orange City and Adam Grimm of Sibley; and a trailer of a film by Nate Schoenfeld of Omaha.
Emcees for the evening will be Vaughn Donahue and Elliot De Wit.
